INDIANA — The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has announced that online applications for reserved draw hunts will officially open on Monday, Aug. 17.
Hunters seeking limited-access hunting opportunities for deer, small game, gamebirds, and waterfowl across select public and private lands will have until Wednesday, Sept. 16, to complete and submit their applications.
Available Hunting Locations
The upcoming application window covers a variety of prime hunting sites throughout the state:
- Deer Hunts: Select state parks, Big Oaks National Wildlife Refuge, and designated Indiana Private Lands Access (IPLA) properties.
- Waterfowl, Small Game, and Gamebirds: Participating Fish & Wildlife Areas (FWAs), Nature Preserves, and private land access sites.
Application Requirements & Fees
Applicants must hold a valid Indiana hunting license for the specific species and equipment type corresponding to the hunt for which they are applying.
A $1 non-refundable technology fee is charged for each hunt application submitted.

Applications must be submitted electronically through the Indiana DNR’s online Activity Hub portal at GoOutdoorsIN.com or via the GoOutdoorsIN mobile app. Late entries will not be accepted.
