ORANGE COUNTY — For those looking to navigate the digital world with greater confidence, a free workshop focusing on the fundamentals of email communication is set to take place later this month.
The “Introduction to E-mail: The Power of Digital Communication” program, a collaborative effort between Purdue Extension Orange County and the Melton Public Library, promises to equip attendees with essential skills for effective online communication.
The workshop is designed with beginners in mind and requires no prior email experience. Participants will discover the advantages of having a personal email address, learn how to select an email provider, and gain hands-on experience in creating an account. Furthermore, the session will cover the practical aspects of sending, receiving, and organizing emails, along with advanced tools and best practices for maintaining online safety and security.
