BEDFORD — The community is invited to enjoy a meal while supporting Sam Laster and his family at a “Dine N’ Donate” fundraiser this Friday, August 7. The event is being hosted by Domino’s at 1605 M St, Bedford.
On June 9, Sam Laster was involved in an automobile accident that changed his life. He was unconscious and unresponsive at the scene of the accident and had to be airlifted to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, where doctors worked to save his life.

Laster remained unconscious for 13 hours and spent two days on life support because he could not breathe on his own. After spending a week in the trauma intensive care unit, he was able to return home, but his journey is far from over. He continues to need physical therapy, faces lung complications, and is receiving treatment from specialists after testing revealed slowing brain activity.
On top of his recovery, Laster is unable to work, and his wife, Heather, has reduced her work hours to care for him. As medical bills, rehabilitation expenses, and everyday costs continue to stack up, the family faces an overwhelming burden during this difficult time.
On August 7, five percent of every sale will be donated back to the Laster family to help them pay for medical bills, rehabilitation, lost income, and everyday expenses. Every carryout or delivery order placed on August 7 will contribute to supporting their family. Domino’s Bedford will also donate fifteen percent of sales above their normal daily average.
Those who support this event will receive twenty-five percent off their order on August 7, using the code GIVE.
