BEDFORD — White River Humane Society currently has $50 spay or neuter vouchers available for Lawrence County residents. This opportunity was made possible by a grant from the Lawrence County Community Foundation.
Vouchers can be redeemed at participating veterinary centers for $50 off the cost of a spay or neutering procedure.
To qualify, participants must:
- Be a resident of Lawrence County
- Present a valid photo ID when picking up their voucher
- Limit two vouchers per household
Spaying and neutering helps prevent overpopulation of pets and homeless animals in the community. By getting pets spayed or neutered, owners can be a part of the solution in reducing pet overpopulation in Lawrence County.
Those interested should visit the White River Humane Society, located at 3511 Pump House Rd. Bedford, to pick up a voucher while supplies last.
