Bloomington Volunteer Fair registration opens for local nonprofits and community groups

BLOOMINGTON – The City of Bloomington Volunteer Network (CBVN) will host its annual  Volunteer Fair from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, inside Bloomington City Hall (401 N. Morton St.) and on the Fernandez Plaza in front of the building. This free community event is held each year to introduce would-be volunteers to dozens of local, volunteer-powered organizations.  The fair will be held in conjunction with the Saturday Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market.

Organization registration for the CBVN Volunteer Fair is now open. Organizations can register via an online sign-up form (https://bton.in/VFair26) and will remain open until August 15, 2026, or until all spots are filled. Registration is free, and space is limited.

Each year, the Volunteer Fair brings together dozens of organizations working across Bloomington’s civic, cultural, environmental, educational, health, human services, and neighborhood life. For participating groups, the event is an opportunity to connect directly with community members who are looking for meaningful ways to serve.

The City of Bloomington Volunteer Network connects volunteers of all ages with opportunities to support local organizations and helps agencies build creative, effective volunteer programs and partnerships. Through these connections, CBVN supports a stronger, more engaged Bloomington.
