BEDFORD — Residents will have a direct opportunity to help shape the future for women and girls across Indiana when the Women’s Foundation of Indiana brings its statewide listening tour to Bedford later this month.

The Women’s Listening Circle will take place on Wednesday, July 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the StoneGate Arts & Education Center, located at 931 15th Street in Bedford.
The Bedford gathering is part of a broader series connecting women across seven regional counties. Designed as a facilitated, community-driven conversation, the event aims to gather ground-level insights that will directly inform the Women’s Foundation’s statewide strategic agenda.
Attendees will participate in guided group discussions focused on identifying community needs, sharing personal experiences, and highlighting the grassroots initiatives already making a difference locally. Key objectives for the session include:
- Identifying Priorities: Discussing essential resources and opportunities women and girls need to thrive in Southern Indiana.
- Elevating Local Solutions: Highlighting local leaders, programs, and community assets currently doing impactful work.
- Informing Policy: Translating local ideas into actionable statewide goals for the Women’s Foundation of Indiana.
