Lawrence County 4-H Fair 2026 kicks off Saturday; Livestock and Grandstand schedules

BEDFORD The 2026 Lawrence County 4-H Fair kicks off Saturday and runs through July 18, 2026, at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds. The multi-week celebration of local youth, agriculture, and community development features essential project judging events, a full lineup of arena livestock shows, and action-packed nightly grandstand entertainment.

Live livestock showbills are hosted online by the Purdue Extension Lawrence County Office for those tracking the competitions in real-time.

Static projects and early talent divisions kick off the fair environment ahead of the main week. All exhibit hall and expo hall projects must be logged through the official FairEntry system.

  • Tuesday, July 7th: 5:30 p.m.– Project Judging & Minis (Exhibit Hall & Expo Hall).
  • Thursday, July 9th: 9:00 a.m.– Sewing, Fashion Revue, Public Speaking, & Demonstrations (Expo Hall).
  • Friday, July 10th:
    • 9:00 a.m. – Foods Judging (Community Building) & Cake/Cupcake Decorating (Exhibit Hall).
    • 10:00 a.m. – Horticulture, Beekeeping, & Floriculture Judging (Exhibit Hall).

Track & Grandstand Lineup

Motorsports, interactive animal scrambles, and high-energy stadium events are slated for the track and grandstands, with primary competitive arena shows starting at 8:00 p.m. nightly. Admission to all grandstand events grants free entry to children aged 2 and under.
