SCOTT COUNTY – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Enneking Pressure Cleaning, Inc. is scheduled to close State Road 356 over Woods Fork on or after Monday, July 13, to complete a bridge deck overlay project in Scott County.
The closure will take place approximately 3.1 miles east of State Road 203 near Lexington and is expected to take up to four days, weather permitting. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route, which follows State Road 62 to State Road 56 to State Road 203 back to State Road 356.
This project is part of a contract awarded to Enneking in August 2025. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
