BEDFORD — To help local students start the upcoming academic year on the right foot, the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County has announced its annual Back to School Bash.
The community event will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026. During the event, hundreds of area families will come through the club’s doors to receive free school supplies, participate in games and activities, and access a variety of free community resources.
Because the club exhausts its entire inventory of supplies every single year due to high demand, organizers are making an urgent appeal to the community for school supply donations. Any contributions are greatly appreciated to ensure no child goes without the necessary materials.
How to Donate
Community members, businesses, and organizations looking to support the initiative can donate supplies through two convenient methods:
- In-Person Drop-Off or Direct Shipping: Donations can be mailed or dropped off directly at the club’s main facility located at 2009 19th St., Bedford, IN 47421.
- Online Purchases: Supporters can browse and purchase needed items directly from the organization’s dedicated Amazon Wishlist, which will ship the supplies straight to the club.
