BEDFORD — A multi-generational summer tradition is returning to Lawrence County this July, and local businesses and residents have an opportunity to support area youth by becoming official race sponsors.
The Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County has officially opened sponsorship registration for the 51st Annual Limestone 5K Run/Walk road race. Sponsoring the historic race directly funds the club’s safe, impactful after-school programs, providing vital opportunities that help local children learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
Race Event Details
The Limestone 5K is recognized as one of the oldest road races in southern Indiana, boasting a long history of fast times and challenging competition.
- Date & Time: Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.
- The Course: The race begins and ends at the Parkview Track, with a flat residential neighborhood in between.
- Spectator View: Spectators will get an excellent view of the exciting finish, as the final quarter-mile of the race takes place directly on the track.
How to Become a Sponsor
Local businesses and community leaders can choose from three distinct sponsorship tiers to support the event and the youth served by the club every day:
- Gold Medalist: $1,000
- Silver Medalist: $500
- Bronze Medalist: $250
