Mason Manor Housing Development

Our Southern Indiana Regional Development Authority (RDA) and Receveur Real Estate have announced a ceremonial groundbreaking for Mason Manor, a new housing development in Salem. The event will take place on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the project site at 907 East Hackberry Street.

Members of the local community, project partners, are invited to attend the morning ceremony to celebrate the official start of construction.

The ceremony will feature brief remarks from key stakeholders detailing the timeline of the development and its projected long-term impact on the Salem community.

Spurring Regional Growth Through READI

The Mason Manor project represents continued momentum for housing infrastructure across Washington County. The development is supported, in part, by Indiana’s Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative (READI).

Administered by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), the state’s READI program is strategically designed to partner with regional authorities to accelerate economic growth, attract talent, and catalyze quality-of-place investments. By utilizing these state funds, the project highlights ongoing collaborative investments aimed at expanding the local housing market to support a growing workforce.
