BEDFORD — Golfers, businesses, and community supporters will have an opportunity to help the Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Department while enjoying a day on the course during the department’s 6th Annual Golf Scramble on Saturday, June 13.
The fundraiser will be held at Stone Crest Golf Course, with registration beginning at 7 a.m. and a shotgun start scheduled for 8 a.m. Lunch will be provided by Judah Catering.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Department, helping support the department’s ongoing operations and service to the community.
In addition to golfer participation, the department is seeking sponsors at several levels. The top-tier Chief Level sponsorship is available for $1,000 and includes a four-person team registration, an exclusive sponsor event banner, and social media recognition.
The Captain Level sponsorship is $350 and includes a hole sponsorship along with a four-person team registration. Firefighter Level sponsorships are available for $250 and include a four-person team entry. Businesses can also purchase individual hole sponsorships for $150 or split-a-hole sponsorships for $75.
Department officials said hole sponsorships are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, allowing businesses and organizations to showcase their support while gaining visibility throughout the event.
Sponsors may pay by cash, check payable to the Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Department, or by credit card through PayPal using the QR code provided on event materials. Donations are tax-deductible, and receipts are available upon request.

Organizers encourage community members, local businesses, and golf enthusiasts to participate, noting that events such as the annual scramble play an important role in helping volunteer fire departments maintain equipment, training, and emergency response capabilities.
