BEDFORD — Aspiring contestants have a bit more time to throw their crowns into the ring. Organizers for the 2026 Lawrence County Fair Queen and Alumni Pageant have officially extended the application deadline to June 29th.

In an effort to accommodate last-minute entries, pageant officials announced that completed applications can be hand-delivered directly at the pageant’s very first informational meeting.
This year, officials are collaborating with 2025 Queen Brooklyn Peterson in hosting an Alumni Pageant. If you are a past queen or court member and are interested in participating, reach out to Terri Peterson. terripeterson04@gmail.com.
Contestants planning to participate should keep a close eye on the upcoming summer schedule, as preparations will move quickly following the new deadline:
- June 29th (6:00 p.m.): First Meeting & Extended Application Deadline. Held in the Expo Hall.
- June 30th (4:30 p.m.): Official Headshots at Timeless Images Studio.
- July 6th (6:00 p.m.): Second Meeting. Held in the Expo Hall.
- July 8th: Mandatory Rehearsal (Time TBA). Held in the Expo Hall.
- July 9th (6:00 p.m.): The 2026 Lawrence County Fair Queen and Alumni Pageant. Held in the Expo Hall.
How to Apply
Interested participants can utilize the extra time to finalize their forms and bring them to the Expo Hall on Monday, June 29th, at 6:00 p.m. For further details on eligibility or to obtain an application packet, contestants are encouraged to reach out to the Lawrence County Fair pageant coordinators.
