Franciscan Health presents Cooking Matters class on June 3 in Crawfordsville

CRAWFORDSVILLE – Franciscan Health, in collaboration with FISH Food Pantry of Montgomery County, Indy Hunger Network, and CookingMatters.org, will be holding a class entitled “Cooking Matters” on Wednesday, June 3, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Crawfordsville.

The class highlights healthy, affordable recipes, tips for budget-friendly grocery shopping, proper cooking techniques, saving time in the kitchen, options for selective eaters, general nutrition tips, and more.

Participants will prepare and taste a new recipe made with healthy ingredients.

Families with children ages 7 and older are encouraged to attend this free event together.

St. Bernard Catholic Church is located at 1306 East Main St. in Crawfordsville. The class will take place in the FISH Food Pantry building which is also the Knights of Columbus building, located behind the St. Bernard Catholic Church.
