BEDFORD — Seniors and caregivers seeking support to remain independent at home will find a wide range of home health care resources at the 2026 WBIW Senior Fair, presented by Vertical Home Health, on Wednesday, May 20, at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church.
The annual event brings together more than 50 vendors focused on services that help older adults live safely and comfortably in their own homes, with a strong emphasis this year on home health care, wellness support, and in-home assistance.
Home health care providers at the fair will highlight services designed to reduce hospital visits and support recovery and daily living at home. Offerings typically include skilled nursing care, medication management, physical and occupational therapy, personal care assistance, and companionship services. Many vendors also provide guidance for families navigating care options for aging loved ones.
In addition to direct care providers, attendees will find organizations offering home safety evaluations, caregiver resources, and information on coordinating long-term in-home care plans. Representatives will be available to answer questions about eligibility, coverage options, and how to begin services.
The free event is hosted by 1340 WBIW, Southern Indiana’s Classic Hits 105.5, and 102.5 Litefm, and runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to the public. While the fair welcomes all ages, it is designed especially for seniors, family caregivers, and those planning for future care needs.
