Indiana Department of Revenue named IndyStar’s Central Indiana Top Workplace

INDIANAPOLIS – For the eighth year in a row, the Indiana Department of Revenue (DOR) has been named one of IndyStar’s Central Indiana Top Workplaces. Earlier this year, DOR was also recognized for the sixth year in a row by USA Today with the national Top Workplaces award.

Both awards are based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey, administered by the culture improvement organization, Energage LLC. DOR invites its team of over 600 Hoosiers to voluntarily provide feedback through the confidential survey, which measures the employee experience. Companies that participate in the survey are measured against each other, and those with the highest overall scores compared to like-sized companies in their region are named Top Workplaces.

Continuous improvement is one of DOR’s core values, and the feedback gained from employees through this program helps the agency grow and develop its strong culture, each year. Commissioner Kevin Gulley states, “Our agency is passionate about serving Hoosier taxpayers, and the DOR team is the foundation to our success. Being named on the state and national Top Workplaces lists again is an honor, and these recognitions are entirely due to our incredible team.”
