BLOOMINGTON — Just hours before the Indiana Hoosiers take the field for tonight’s Spring Game, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has unveiled a commemorative tribute to the man who changed the course of IU Athletics history.
The museum officially debuted the Curt Cignetti Indiana Hoosiers Talking Championship Bobblehead this morning. The special edition piece celebrates Coach Cignetti leading the Hoosiers to their first-ever National Championship on January 19, 2026, with a historic victory over the Miami Hurricanes.
This isn’t just a standard collectible. The championship edition is an upgrade of the original talking bobblehead released last November, which sold out in record time.
New features include:
- Championship Branding: The podium and backdrop prominently feature the Indiana Hoosiers National Championship logos.
- Iconic Audio: The bobblehead plays the now-legendary audio from the December 23, 2023, National Signing Day press conference. When asked how he sells his vision to recruits, Cignetti famously replied: “It’s pretty simple. I win. Google me.”
- Official Licensing: The piece is an officially licensed product of Indiana University Bloomington.
Coaching for a Cause
While the bobblehead commemorates a milestone on the gridiron, its impact extends far beyond the stadium. Coach Cignetti has announced that he is donating 100% of his proceeds from the sale of these bobbleheads to Riley Children’s Hospital.
“This makes the championship edition even more special,” said a spokesperson for the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. “It’s a way for fans to own a piece of history while supporting the incredible work being done for children across the state.”
The bobbleheads are available now through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s online store. Given that the previous iteration sold out within days, fans are encouraged to act quickly to secure this piece of the Hoosiers’ 2025-26 title run.
The Hoosiers’ Spring Game kicks off tonight, offering fans their first look at the defending National Champions since that snowy night in January.
