Coca-Cola debuts state-inspired mini cans for America’s 250th Anniversary

INDIANA As the United States prepares to celebrate its semiquincentennial this July, one of the world’s most iconic brands is joining the festivities with a localized twist. Coca-Cola has officially unveiled a limited-edition series.

The state-inspired Coca-Cola cans are exclusively available in the 7.5-ounce mini-can size. The limited-edition series features 52 unique, state-themed designs—including D.C. and Puerto Rico—celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.

On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, the Coca-Cola Consolidated production facility in Indianapolis opened its doors to showcase the manufacturing process behind the new collection. The tour highlighted the facility’s recent technical innovations and the logistical teamwork required to roll out the multi-state designs simultaneously.

Indiana’s specific commemorative can pays homage to the “Racing Capital of the World,” featuring a race car silhouette in honor of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indy 500.

The limited-edition designs will be available across the Coca-Cola portfolio, including Original Taste, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, and Diet Coke.

Hoosier consumers can expect to see the Indiana-themed race car cans appearing on retail shelves across the state beginning this week and continuing through the peak of the summer celebration in July.
