MITCHELL — Hatfield Elementary School invites the community to “step back in time” for a Second Grade Sock Hop on Thursday, April 2, 2026. The performance, led by Mrs. Crecelius and the second-grade class, will take place in the Hatfield Elementary Gym.
Doors are scheduled to open at 5:30 p.m., with the musical program officially beginning at 6:00 p.m. The event promises a night of 1950s flair, featuring “toe-tappin’ and finger-snappin’” performances that showcase the students’ hard work and musical talent.
School officials expressed excitement for the upcoming show and encouraged Hatfield families to “pack the gym” to support the students.
This performance is one of several community events scheduled for the first week of April, including the Bedford Public Library’s Spring Concert Series featuring Tim Mattingly, also taking place on April 2.
