IU Athletic Director Scott Dolson said the tour is a way to thank fans statewide for their support throughout the season.
“From Indianapolis to Pasadena to Atlanta to Miami, Hoosier fans fueled our championship run by turning out in enormous numbers at each of our postseason games,” Dolson said in a news release. “They transformed neutral site games into virtual home games, and had a big impact on making these championships possible. We’re excited to give Hoosier fans from every corner of the state a chance to see the trophies in person this spring.”
The Hoosiers capped off a historic year with a victory over the Miami Hurricanes football in the national championship game on January 19, finishing a perfect 16-0 season.
The trophy tour offers fans a rare opportunity to celebrate that achievement firsthand and relive one of the most memorable seasons in program history.
