Watch party at the library: Preserve Smart

MITCHELL – The Mitchell Community Public Library will host a “watch party” on Monday, March 16, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The session, titled Dehydration 101, is part of the Preserve Smart series and features an online discussion hosted by Purdue Extension. Participants can learn how dehydration removes moisture to extend shelf life, enhance flavor, and reduce food waste while keeping nutrients intact.

The event is free to the public. Interested individuals can join the watch party by signing up at the library front desk or by calling 812-849-2412. For those requiring special accommodations or with questions about the event, contact Abigail Creigh at creigh@purdue.edu or by phone at 260-636-2111.
