ORLEANS – Runners, walkers, and families are invited to take part in the annual Dogwood 5K on Saturday, April 25, an event designed to bring the community together for fitness and fun.

The event will begin and end at the Monon South Trailhead and will feature activities for participants of all ages and skill levels.
Registration opens at 7 a.m., giving participants time to check in before the main race events begin. The 5K walk and run will start at 8 a.m., offering both competitive runners and casual walkers the chance to enjoy the scenic trail. Following the main event, a Children’s Fun Run will begin at 9 a.m., providing a special opportunity for younger participants to join in the excitement.
Organizers say the Dogwood 5K aims to encourage healthy activity while creating a family-friendly atmosphere for the community. Spectators and supporters are also encouraged to attend and cheer on participants along the course.
Participants are encouraged to arrive early for registration and warm-up time before the race begins.
