GREENCASTLE — The Putnam County Master Gardeners will host the 2026 Garden Fair on Saturday, March 21, at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the fairgrounds, located at 191 U.S. 231 in Greencastle. Admission is free and the event will include door prizes, children’s activities, garden-related vendors, a gardeners’ garage sale, a photography contest and tool sharpening.

This year’s theme is “Trees & Bees.” Attendees will also have the opportunity to receive free trees while supplies last. Available species include white pine, black gum, flowering dogwood and gray dogwood, with one tree provided per family.
Educational speakers will include Mike Seib of Seib Hoosier Honey speaking on native bees at 9:30 a.m., Ryan Lough of SavATree presenting on tree pruning at 10:30 a.m., and Pete Stuart of Cultivate HC discussing soil importance at 11:30 a.m.
Hands-on demonstrations will also be offered, including tree grafting with Matt Chandler of Chandler’s Orchard at 1 p.m. and a mason house building demonstration by Putnam County Master Gardeners at 2 p.m.
