BLOOMINGTON — Heading Home is inviting local property owners and housing professionals to a Landlord Appreciation Breakfast on Tuesday, March 10, at the Monroe Convention Center.
The event, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., is designed to recognize the vital role landlords play in the community and to strengthen the bridge between the private rental market and local housing assistance programs.

The morning will begin with a period of informal networking, allowing landlords and property managers to connect with peers and community leaders. Following the meal, representatives from several partner agencies will give brief presentations.
These presentations will focus on:
- Agency Services: Insights into the specific support systems available for tenants and landlords.
- Referral Processes: How to navigate local housing assistance programs.
- Collaboration: Opportunities for property owners to work with community organizations to address local housing needs.
The breakfast is complimentary and open to all landlords and property managers in the Monroe County area.
- When: Tuesday, March 10, 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
- Where: Monroe Convention Center (302 S. College Ave., Bloomington)
- RSVP: Interested attendees are asked to register in advance via the official RSVP link.
This appreciation event serves as both a “thank you” to current housing partners and an educational opportunity for those interested in learning how local agencies can help mitigate risks and support stable tenancies.
