BNL Stars to shine at Stonegate’s Inaugural “Lunch with the Arts” event

BEDFORD The Stonegate Arts and Education Center is launching a new cultural tradition this month, inviting the community to a midday celebration of local talent. The center will host its first-ever Lunch with the Arts event on Friday, February 27th, at 11:30 a.m.

The debut program features a high-energy collaboration between two of Bedford North Lawrence High School’s premier performing arts groups: the cast of the upcoming spring musical “Snoopy!” and the BNL Jazz Orchestra.

Under the direction of Heather Jones, seventeen student performers will take the stage in Brinegar Hall Theater, located on the second floor of the Stonegate building.

Attendees will be treated to a special preview of songs from Snoopy! The Musical, which is scheduled for a full production in March. To complement the theatrical selections, the BNL Jazz Orchestra will perform a variety of jazz standards, showcasing the instrumental range of the school’s top musicians.
