BEDFORD – Lawrence County Independent Schools is now scheduling kindergarten screenings for the 2026–27 school year, with appointments available on Wednesday, March 11, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The screening is open to children who will be 5 years old by Aug. 1.
Kindergarten screening helps educators get to know incoming students and ensures families have the support and information they need before the school year begins. Lawrence County Independent Schools offers small class sizes, hands-on student-centered learning, and enrichment opportunities including music, physical education, and STEAM instruction.
