BEDFORD – North Lawrence Middle School softball is opening registration for students interested in trying out for the upcoming season.
Tryouts are open to 6th, 7th and 8th grade players from North Lawrence Community Schools, St. Vincent, Lawrence County Independent Schools and Springville Community Academy.
Tryouts will be held Thursday, Jan. 30, and Monday, Feb. 3, from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at Bedford North Lawrence High School’s upstairs batting cages.

Organizers said practices will begin in February, with games scheduled in April and May during the week. There will be no weekend practices or games.
