BEDFORD — Shawswick Elementary School and the Shawswick PTO will welcome back graduating seniors for a special “Senior Breakfast & Clapout” on Friday, May 8.
The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. in the teachers lounge and is open to seniors who attended Shawswick, as well as graduates whose former elementary school has since closed. Former teachers are also invited to attend.
Students are encouraged to wear their cap and gown, reconnect with staff, and celebrate one last time in the building where their school journey began.
Organizers ask seniors to RSVP by May 1 by emailing FarmersPTO@gmail.com. A list of attendees will be shared with area high schools as needed to help students receive excused tardies.
