BLOOMFIELD – Purdue Extension is inviting current and aspiring backyard fruit growers to take part in “Fruitful Fridays in February,” a four-session program focused on helping participants improve home fruit production through practical, research-based instruction.
The live/virtual series will be held Fridays on Feb. 6, 13, 20 and 27 from noon to 1:30 p.m. (Eastern). Sessions will cover a variety of topics, including modern fruit production practices, as well as pest and disease management, with guidance provided by Purdue Extension educators and specialists.

Participants can attend in person at the Greene County Community Event Center, located at 4503 W. State Road 54 in Bloomfield, or join virtually.
Registration is $30, and the deadline to sign up is Jan. 29. Interested individuals can register using the QR code on the event flyer.
