MITCHELL – Mitchell Community Public Library is inviting young readers to bundle up with a good book this winter through its Kids Winter Book Club, featuring Hummingbird by bestselling author Natalie Lloyd. The program is open to children ages 9–13 and gives participants the chance to read the selected novel, then gather with other readers for a guided discussion.
Registration is required, and families are encouraged to sign up early to reserve a copy of the book. Book pickup for registered participants begins Jan. 26, giving readers several weeks to enjoy the story before the group meets.
The book club discussion will be held Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. at Mitchell Community Public Library. To register, call the library at 812-849-2412.
