Greater Bloomington Chamber to host Legislative Preview Jan. 9

BLOOMINGTON – The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Legislative Preview on Friday, Jan. 9, offering community members a chance to hear directly from state leaders ahead of the upcoming legislative session.

The event will take place from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., with breakfast served prior to the start of the program. The formal presentation will begin promptly at 9:15 a.m. Parking will be available in the nearby Morton Street Parking Garage.

During the Legislative Preview, the Chamber will present its Legislative Agenda, outlining key policy priorities for the year. State legislators have been invited to attend and share their goals and perspectives for the upcoming session, giving attendees insight into issues expected to impact the Bloomington and Monroe County business community.

Chamber officials say the event is designed to kick off the year with a focus on advocacy and engagement, providing a forum for dialogue between lawmakers, business leaders, and residents.
