LOOGOOTEE – Youth in grades 7 and up are invited to take part in the National 4-H Animal Science Career Night on December 18, 2025. The virtual event, held from 7–8 p.m. EST (6–7 p.m. CST), is free to attend and offers students a chance to explore career pathways within the animal science industry.

This year’s program features two guest speakers: Jack Ward, Executive Vice President of the American Hereford Association, and Sam Cohen, Zoological Supervisor at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida. Both will share industry experience, career advice, and take participant questions in real time.
The program is presented by the National Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals’ Animal Science Working Group and is open to youth ages 12–19.
