MITCHELL — Families heading downtown for Christmas festivities will want to make the Mitchell Community Public Library one of their first stops. On Saturday, Dec. 13, from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m., the library will welcome kids and teens for a festive drop-in Christmas activity as part of the community-wide holiday celebration.

Young visitors can stop by to have their Christmas passport stamped before creating their very own sand art necklace to take home—a colorful keepsake and a fun way to kick off the season. Library staff say the event is designed to be easy, creative, and welcoming for families enjoying the downtown festivities.
The program is completely free and open to kids and teens. No registration is required.
