Christmas at Crossroads to light up Seymour this Saturday

SEYMOUR — The magic of the season arrives in full glow this Saturday as the community gathers for Christmas at Crossroads, an evening filled with lights, music, and holiday cheer at Crossroads Park. The celebration begins November 29 at 6 p.m. at 101 E. Tipton St., and organizers say this is one festive night families won’t want to miss.

The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 108 will again spread holiday warmth by serving free hot chocolate, cookies, and candy canes throughout the evening. Their volunteers will be stationed near the park, greeting families and helping create a welcoming, hometown holiday atmosphere.

Adding to the excitement, the Seymour Fire Department will escort Santa Claus to the event aboard a firetruck — a moment that never fails to thrill children and adults alike. After the grand arrival, kids will have the opportunity to visit with Santa, share their Christmas wishes, and take photos.

The evening culminates with the lighting of Seymour’s annual Christmas tree, transforming Crossroads Park into a glowing centerpiece of the holiday season. Residents are encouraged to bring their families, enjoy the refreshments, and take part in a tradition that brings the community together year after year.
