INDIANAPOLIS — Faithful of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis are invited to participate in a historic digital event as Pope Leo XIV is scheduled to engage with attendees of the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC).
Pope Leo XIV to Hold Historic Digital Encounter with Youth at National Catholic Conference in Indianapolis
The encounter, titled “Pope Leo Live!,” will take place on Friday, November 21, in Indianapolis, as part of the conference sponsored by the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM).
The Holy Father is scheduled to speak live from Rome at 10:15 a.m. for approximately 45 minutes. He will address more than 15,000 young people, aged 14 to 18, along with youth ministry leaders gathered at Lucas Oil Stadium. Following his address, Pope Leo XIV will engage in personal dialogue with several conference attendees.
Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez, who serves as the episcopal advisor and a board member for the NFCYM, is encouraging all Catholics across the Archdiocese to participate in this special event.
Archbishop Pérez has extended an invitation to all faithful to watch the live broadcast on EWTN’s YouTube Channel: https://bit.ly/3hBbdVX, pray for the young people participating, and share a promotional video from EWTN to help inspire the local and wider Church community.
This unique opportunity provides thousands of young Catholics with a direct, personal experience with the Holy Father, underscoring the NCYC’s role as a major event in American Catholic youth ministry.
