MITCHELL — Ben Franklin-Ace Hardware will host its annual Christmas Open House from Friday through Sunday, Nov. 7–9, 2025. The event will feature storewide seasonal sales, giveaways, and community activities as part of the kickoff to the holiday shopping season.
Shoppers will find 50 percent off all artificial Christmas trees and ornaments, 25 percent off fall and Christmas fabric, and 20 percent off fleece fabric and 2026 calendars.
Special events are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 8, including barbecue chicken dinners served by the Mitchell Lions Club and a Tri Kappa charity bake sale. Southern Indiana’s Classic Hits 105.5 WQRK and 102.5 LiteFM will be on site from 10 a.m. to noon, broadcasting live and playing your favorite tunes. Giveaways will include a $300 shopping spree and a Milwaukee cooler, with drawings held at 11:45 a.m. No purchase or presence will be required to win.
The open house encourages residents to shop locally and celebrate the start of the holiday season alongside community organizations.
