BEDFORD — The Hoosier Trails Council, Scouting America, will host an awards dinner honoring longtime community leader Dan Bortner on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. at 508 Fellowship Drive in Bedford.
The annual event will celebrate Bortner’s life of achievements, including his dedication to civic service, leadership, and the positive impact that Scouting has had throughout his career and personal life.
The evening will include a dinner, fellowship, and stories highlighting Bortner’s contributions to the community and his lifelong involvement with the Scouting movement.
