Dig In for a Cause: Spaghetti on the Square THIS Saturday to Benefit Men’s Warming Shelter

If you haven’t heard about Spaghetti on the Square, you must have noodles in your ears! This beloved community tradition is back this Saturday, September 27, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Harp Commons in Bedford, and it promises to be bigger, better, and tastier than ever. For just $10 per ticket—or $25 for four—you can enjoy a delicious spaghetti dinner, live music, a silent auction, and the unbeatable feeling of knowing you’re supporting a vital cause: the Men’s Warming Shelter of Bedford.

Last year’s event raised an incredible $35,000, and this year organizers are aiming even higher, with a goal of $37,000 to help fund the shelter’s upcoming winter season. Every dollar makes a difference, providing warmth, safety, and care for men in need throughout our community.

But Spaghetti on the Square is more than just dinner—it’s a true community effort. It takes well over 100 volunteers to make the night happen. More than a dozen people cook spaghetti, just as many bake desserts, and teams of helpers have been working for weeks putting up signs, distributing fliers, and gathering donations for the silent auction. On Saturday, 25 volunteers will be in the kitchen, 35 will be serving, and more than 25 will be setting up and cleaning up to make the evening seamless.

The result is an unforgettable night of food, fellowship, and fun right in the heart of downtown Bedford. Families, friends, and neighbors gather at long tables under the lights, sharing heaping plates of spaghetti, enjoying desserts, and tapping their feet to live music. Whether you’re coming to eat, to enjoy the entertainment, or to bid in the silent auction, you’ll be part of something special.

Tickets are available at the event or in advance at Copy Trolley, the Bedford Chamber of Commerce, and other local churches. Carryout options are also available for those who want to take their spaghetti home.

So grab your ticket, bring your appetite, and join the fun at Spaghetti on the Square this Saturday. Come for the spaghetti, stay for the music and laughter, and leave knowing you’ve helped make Bedford a warmer place this winter for many.
