BEDFORD — The Lawrence County Republican Party held its quarterly meeting Thursday evening at El Compadre, featuring Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales as guest speaker.
Morales spoke to local Republicans about his office’s efforts to ensure secure elections across the state, emphasizing that “election integrity is non-negotiable.” He highlighted Indiana’s recent ranking as seventh in the nation for election integrity by The Heritage Foundation, a result he said fulfills his campaign pledge to make Indiana a top ten state in secure elections.
“Promises made. Promises kept,” Morales told attendees.
The gathering drew what organizers described as a strong turnout, with food, conversation, and networking rounding out the evening. Party officials said plans are already underway for the next quarterly meeting, to be announced in the coming weeks.
