Cornhole tournament joins ‘Cruise Into Fall’ Car, Truck & Bike Show September 20 in Bedford

BEDFORD – Engines will roar, bags will fly, and cash is on the line when Southern Classic Hits 105.5 WQRK and the Bedford Parks Department present the annual Cornhole Tournament, part of the “Cruise Into Fall” Car, Truck & Bike Show on Saturday, Sept. 20.

The competition begins at 10:30 a.m. at Thornton Park, 1625 Q St. in Bedford, where 32 teams will battle in a single-elimination bracket for a shot at cash prizes. Registration is only $20 per player, making this one of the most affordable—and most exciting—tournaments in the area. All bags are provided, so competitors only need to bring their best aim and game-day attitude.

The stakes are high: First place takes home $500, second place earns $100, and third place claims $50. Every throw could be the difference between elimination and glory, with brackets drawn at random to keep the action fair and unpredictable.

What makes this year’s tournament even bigger is the atmosphere. Alongside the competition, attendees can stroll through rows of classic cars, trucks, and bikes at the Cruise Into Fall Show, making Thornton Park the ultimate destination for community fun, friendly rivalry, and a showcase of horsepower both on the road and on the boards.

Organizers promise a day packed with energy, competition, and family-friendly entertainment. Whether you’re tossing bags, cheering on your favorite team, or admiring the vehicles on display, the event offers something for everyone.

Don’t miss your chance to win $500! Register now – spots are limited to 32 teams.
