BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Parks and Recreation is celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit of local youth with a special “Youth Day” at Food Truck Friday on September 12. Young artists, growers, and makers ages 6-17 will have the opportunity to sell and showcase their creations alongside the regular food vendors.
Youth can sign up for a 10′ x 10′ booth space for $15 and will keep all their profits from the day. The priority deadline to reserve a booth is Friday, August 29.

A second Youth Day will also be held at the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market on September 27. Details and registration for that event will be announced at a later date.
Registration for the Food Truck Friday event is available exclusively through Bloomington Parks and Recreation. Interested participants can find the official registration form on the Parks and Recreation website or through links on their Instagram and Facebook pages. The department warns against third-party registration, noting that any offers to register through outside links are a scam.
