BEDFORD – Becky’s Place will host its “Sleepout Speakout” event from Friday, August 1, to Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the Bedford First Church of God, located at 3131 16th Street. The event aims to raise awareness about homeless women and children in the community.
Last year, Becky’s Place sheltered a record 140 women and children, and the organization remains committed to providing support to more individuals in need. Participants in the “Sleepout Speakout” can choose to sleep out at the church or from their own chosen location. Those participating remotely are encouraged to take pictures and tag Becky’s Place’s Facebook page.
Registration for the event will conclude on August 2, 2025, at 11:59 PM EDT.
