Martin County Council on Aging to host Elvis tribute fundraiser for senior meals

LOOGOOTEE — The Martin County Council on Aging (MCCA) will host a special spaghetti dinner and concert fundraiser on Saturday, August 2nd, to support its vital meal delivery program for seniors. The event will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Family Life Center of the Loogootee Methodist Church, followed by a live performance by acclaimed Elvis tribute artist Travis Albertson at 7:00 p.m.

The MCCA, with the dedication of its staff and volunteers, serves over 18,000 meals annually to seniors in the community, providing essential nourishment, connection, and care for some of the county’s most vulnerable residents.

The evening’s events are open to all through a freewill offering, ensuring that everyone can participate regardless of their financial ability.

For those interested in providing additional support, the MCCA is seeking corporate sponsors at $500 and non-profit or individual sponsors at $100 to aid the MCCA Meal Home Delivery Program specifically. Checks can be mailed to the Shoals Senior Center or Noel Harty at 409 East Washington Street, Loogootee.
