BLOOMINGTON – The Auxiliary to the Boys & Girls Clubs will present a Strawberry Shortcake Festival this Thursday, June 12, at Switchyard Park in Bloomington.
The festival will feature a menu centered around strawberry treats, with proceeds benefiting local Boys & Girls Clubs.
Attendees can purchase:
- Strawberry Shortcake: A generous serving of homemade pound cake, Bruster’s Vanilla Ice Cream, strawberries, and whipped topping for $9.
- Hot Dog Special: An all-beef hot dog, potato chips, and a bottled water for $5.
- Pup Cup: A cup of whipped topping for $1.
- Bottled Water: $1.
- Strawberry Shortcake Kit: Ten servings of the festival’s strawberry shortcake for $75.
The event provides an opportunity for the community to enjoy sweet treats while supporting youth programs in the area.
