BLOOMINGTON – Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County invites the community to its annual Women+ Build kickoff event on Tuesday, June 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The event will be held at Master Rental, located at 3704 Jonathan Dr., Bloomington. Limited parking is available at Master Rental (including designated accessible parking on the east side of the lot), and additional parking is available across the street at Building Associates.
This kickoff is open to everyone, including past and future builders, supporters, partners, spouses, friends, and neighbors, all united in their support for affordable housing in the community.
What To Expect at Kick-Off
- Meet Habitat staff, volunteers, and future homeowners
- Hear remarks from the Women+ Build Committee and recent homeowners at 6:15 p.m.
- Learn more about participating in Habitat’s Women+ Build, and ask questions!
- Visit the online registration station
- Discover sponsorship opportunities for your business or organization
- Vote for the 2025 t-shirt design
- Visit the Limelight Photo Booth to capture the moment
- Enjoy tasty treats from Rasta Pops and dinner from Pili’s Party Taco (refreshments for purchase)
- Stick around until the end for the chance to win incredible raffle prizes from local organizations
