MITCHELL – The inaugural Greater Indiana Slot Car Swap Meet, featuring model cars and Hot Wheels, is scheduled for Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Emerson Gym, located on N. 8th Street in Mitchell.
The event is sponsored by Main Street Racing, the Mitchell Chamber of Commerce, and Lawrence County Tourism.
Early bird admission runs from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. for $10. General admission is $5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children 15 and under receive free admission.
Attendees will have the opportunity to browse and purchase various slot cars and related items. Featured brands include Ninco, Aurora, AFX, Hot Wheels, Scalextric, and Parma.
Eight-foot table rentals are available for $25 each. Pre-payment is required for all show tables. Tables can be set up on Saturday, May 31st, at Emerson Gym. To arrange pre-setup, contact Main Street Racing at 812-272-2184.
All checks for the event should be made payable to Mark Dorman. On-site 1:32 HO test tracks will be available. Concessions will also be on offer.
