An immunization clinic will be held at the Boys and Girls Club of Bedford, located at 2009 19th Street, Bedford, IN 47421, on Saturday, August 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. According to the event flyer, the clinic aims to “break down barriers, bringing vaccines to you. “
Walk-ins are welcome on the day of the clinic. However, individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can provide consent. Attendees are asked to bring their insurance cards, as all CDC-recommended vaccines will be provided, and insurance (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid) will be accepted and billed. There is no cost to those with insurance, except for the Shingles and adult RSV vaccines, which may have a required co-pay. Participants are also asked to upload or send immunization records for the individual being vaccinated.

The clinic will consult the state immunization registry to assess the immunization needs of each individual. Those with specific vaccine refusal requests are asked to contact the Indiana Immunization Coalition at least 48 hours prior to the event at clinic@vaccinateindiana.org.
