BEDFORD – The Twisted Steel Warriors FC are organizing a benefit ride, “Bikers Against Cancer,” to support Tiffany, a Bedford resident facing a recurrence of breast cancer. The event, scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025, will raise funds for Tiffany Thomas and her family and promote cancer awareness. Â
Tiffany previously battled and overcame breast cancer, only to have it return. She is in her early 40’s, and has two children. She worked as a social worker at Hoosier Uplands. Organizer Jennifer Buckner described her as “someone who has devoted her life to helping others.” She is a mother of two young boys and is married to a supportive husband. Her cancer is terminal, leaving her unable to work due to treatment.

The ride will begin and end at Shorty’s Bar and Grill, located at 1300 7th St. in Bedford. Registration starts at 8 a.m., with kickstands up at 10 a.m.. The registration fee is $25 per bike and $5 per passenger.
Following the ride, participants can enjoy food, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and a kids’ area. All proceeds will be donated to Tiffany’s family. Shirts will be available for purchase at the event.
The Twisted Steel Warriors have plans to make the “Bikers Against Cancer” event an annual tradition with a new recipient each year.
