Monroe Democrats seek volunteers for Information Booth at Bloomington Farmers Market

BLOOMINGTON – The vibrant energy of the City of Bloomington Farmers Market is set to return in 2025, promising a season brimming with fresh produce, local crafts, and a diverse array of vendors. Among the anticipated highlights is the return of Information Alley, where community organizations and groups connect with market-goers. This year, the Monroe County Democrats will again have a prominent presence in this bustling hub and actively seek enthusiastic volunteers to staff their booth.

The 2025 Farmers Market is expected to be a lively affair. It will boast a full complement of vendors, including an impressive selection of approximately 25 prepared food vendors, offering a delicious taste of the local culinary scene. Amidst this exciting atmosphere, the Monroe Democrats’ booth in Information Alley will serve as a key point of engagement for the party.

“Our booth at the Farmers Market provides a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community,” said a representative for the Monroe Democrats. “It’s a chance to welcome new individuals into the party, share our values, and, most importantly, reconnect with and re-energize our fellow Democrats.”

The Monroe Democrats are inviting interested individuals to consider joining their team of volunteers who will be staffing the booth throughout the market season. Volunteers will be crucial in engaging with visitors, answering questions, providing information about the party’s initiatives, and fostering connections within the local Democratic community.

This is a valuable opportunity to participate actively in local politics, connect with like-minded individuals, and contribute to the Monroe County Democrats’ outreach efforts. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or looking for your first opportunity to get involved, your support would be greatly appreciated.
