Food Truck Fridays roll into Switchyard Park in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON – The aroma of sizzling street food and the sounds of live music are filling Switchyard Park as the highly anticipated “Food Truck Fridays” event returns. Presented by The Chocolate Moose, the weekly gathering promises a diverse culinary experience and lively entertainment for the Bloomington community.

Every Friday, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., the park at 1601 S. Rogers St. transforms into a bustling hub of food vendors and music lovers. Attendees can indulge in a variety of cuisines from local favorites, including Uno Mas, Elli Mays Smoked BBQ, Kebab on Wheels, Slop Shop, Richi St Taco, Arepa Burger, Döner Kebab, Wever’s Smoke Eaters BBQ, The Crepe Outdoors, Jay’s Kitchen, Pierogi Place (5-8 p.m.), and Tom’s Coffee (lunch only). The Chocolate Moose itself will also be on hand, offering their signature sweet treats.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the band Natural Causes will provide live music from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., ensuring an enjoyable evening for all.

“Food Truck Fridays” has quickly become a community staple, drawing crowds of all ages to enjoy the relaxed, open-air setting. The event provides a platform for local food vendors to showcase their unique offerings, while also fostering a sense of community.
